My iPod doesn't make noise without earbuds, so I might bring a small clock.

I have nothing to contribute, just wanted to say thanks because there's a few things I would have never thought to bring that you ladies have brought up!
Man, I wish I was all packed and ready to go.

Something else you want to be sure and have... small bills for tips!
I'm gonna get me some $2 ones at the bank, they like $2 ones. |

You don't have to give extra tips. Gratuities are included in your cruise price.

ETA: Just checked, and my old phone does have the ability to sound alarms, 4 different settings, even. I may contact Verizon, but I sincerely doubt they will charge me for my phone to sound an alarm, when there is no calling taking place. Yay!

kristyciera wrote: You have to tip all the people handling your bags. I know there's one at the port, but I'll have a couple to tip at the airport too. And I plan on tipping the bartender a little extra. And the room steward and the dining room waiters and maitre de. Don't forget these people barely make minimum wage and send the majority of their money home to their families, who they're away from half the year. |

Last year we used room service as our wake up call on the day in port so that we could get to our excursion by 8:30. It was nice to have breakfast waiting for
us on that day since we didn't have time to go get it. Tips are included except for alcoholic drinks and sodas to which they will add a charge to your tab.
I think the additional tip was 15% for those drinks. If you want someone to carry your bags on they will expect a tip. I would just carry your own on if you
can. I read in the information that there will not be porters if you board the boat on the 26 but there will be for the 27th.

I cannot stress enough how much you need a lanyard with some type of plastic sleeve to hold your Sign and Sail card. You don't have to dig for it, you
don't have to carry a purse, you don't have to worry about it falling out of your pocket. It's very convenient. And trust me, if you lose your card
because you don't have a lanyard, I will be the first person to say "told ya so." :D

kristyciera wrote: I second this! I know most of you have the Blackberry lanyard still I have about I also have (from the JM concert) 2 WAMU lanyards and some random black one thats thinner (the one I'll use). I will pack them all so see me if you find yourself kicking yourself on the boat ....THEN see Kristy so she can tell you she told you so! (: Dani and I might make mini schedules too to keep in the lanyard. We might add some events of our own between shows and such... ie: 6 degrees to Kevin Bacon starting with one of John's exes LOL.... I'm being totally serious. We've even thought of bring prizes! |

Someone who went last year shrunk down the schedule to fit in a lanyard and shared it with everyone. We printed them out and it was very handy to have that
schedule. They also passed out little booklets with the schedule when you boarded the ship. Another suggestion I have is to write down your cabin number and
keep it in your lanyard with your sign and sail card. Otherwise you might be like me last year and after you have a few drinks forget what your cabin number
is! My memory isn't so great and most of the cabins and hallways look alike so it's easy to get lost.

I don't know if this has already been answered (I can't seem to get everything to appear to check) but are their bath towels in the rooms?

Yes- there are bath towels in the rooms. They change your sheets and towels daily. They also have beach towels available for you take (I think we had 2 in our
room- but they also have them for when you get off the boat for excursions).
